Kill Bill is an extremely popular Tarantino hit about a bride who yearns for revenge. The story is broken up into two separate volumes. Volume one was released in theaters in 2003 and Volume two was released in 2004.

Once again, Quentin has shown us this story out of sequence. The movie starts with the blood face of a pregnant bride (Uma Thurman) speaking to an unseen Bill. She is about to say "Bill, it's your baby!", however; Bill interupts her by shooting her in the face. The story jumps ahead to a scene where the bride has recovered from being comatose for four years and fights one of the five people that are responsible for the shooting. The bride kills this woman with a knife and leaves. Basically, the rest of the first volume consists of the bride (who's name, we later find out, is Beatrix Kiddo) fighting her way through dozens of Tokyo Yakuza sword fighters to get to the boss, O-Ren Ishii the first one of the five that she owes revenge. After an epic one on one sword fight between the two, Kiddo is victorious.

The second Kill Bill volume opens by giving a little more background information on the wedding where Kiddo had been shot in the head. There is a groom present who is rehearsing his vows with his fiance and then Bill shows up and pretends to be Kiddo's dad. Then the shooting takes place with four other members that enter the church. Back to the present: Kiddo finds Budd's trailer in a desert to kill him for revenge, however; she is subdued with a buck shot of rock salt and then sedated. She wakes up to find herself being buried alive in a small wooden box but she eventually escapes by implementing her extreme wall punching abilities. Budd is killed by Elle Driver (the last member to be mentioned) because he has a priceless sword that she wants. It doesn't do Elle much good as she is soon attacked and killed by Kiddo. Now there is only one person left for Kiddo to kill, and that's Bill. When she is about to confront Bill in combat she sees her four year old daughter (who she thought had died while she was in a coma) standing next to him. So she talks to her daughter a bit and then puts her to bed and finally, angrily confronts Bill. they talk and fight but in the end Beatrix Kiddo kills Bill with a secret technique.
